Originally hailing from Toronto Canada, Dervla has spent much of her life living, working and traveling abroad. Having explored 72 countries on 6 continents, it is always Africa that calls her back. After studying at University in Tanzania and traveling over land from Cairo to Cape Town, she made her way to the travel industry, where for several years she has delighted in designing unique trips to her favorite continent. When not dreaming of her next safari, Dervla can be found with a book in her hand, savoring a new craft beer, exploring the city on her bike, sitting happily in a park or competing with her pub trivia team.
